In 2019, we opened the doors of our physical store in Baku with a simple but meaningful idea: to make original, high-quality outdoor gear accessible to people who love nature and adventure. From the very beginning, Mountainshop was more than just a store for us—it was a way to support and grow outdoor culture in Azerbaijan.
Over more than six years, including the difficult years of the pandemic, we continued to move forward. We carefully selected quality brands, listened to our customers, and built a community around a shared love for the outdoors. As founders, we have always been deeply involved in developing outdoor recreation in Azerbaijan and were proud to initiate and support various projects beyond Mountainshop itself.
With time, however, we came to understand that running Mountainshop requires a level of focus, energy, and commitment that we are no longer able to give in the way the project truly deserves. Realizing that we could not continue to develop it according to our original vision, we made the difficult and emotional decision to permanently close Mountainshop.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who walked this path with us—our customers, partners, friends, and the outdoor community. Your trust, support, and shared passion meant everything to us and will always remain a part of this journey.
